Strange Sinkhole Leaves Chilean Officials Puzzled
Chilean specialists began researching on Monday a baffling sinkhole around 25 meters (82 feet) in breadth that showed up over the course of the end of the week in a mining region in the north of the country.
Chilean media showed ethereal pictures of the sinkhole ashore worked by a Canadian Lundin Mining copper mine, around 665 kilometers (413 miles) north of capital Santiago.
